Affiliate
An account that earns a revenue share from another tenant's sales. An affiliate doesn't run the business day to day; they drive or enable sales for a tenant and accrue a cut of the revenue, settled to their own payout account.
Accrual
Earned revenue awaiting payout, recorded per ride, order, or ticket as it happens. Each qualifying sale adds to the accrual in real time, so a partner's balance owed is always current — the accrued total is what a payout eventually settles.
Markup
A per-transaction surcharge a reseller adds on top of the platform fee. Where the platform fee is the platform's cut, the markup is the reseller's own cut layered above it — the reseller keeps the markup while the platform keeps its fee on each sale.
