What is the CRM app?

NOWAITN CRM is the shared customer-record system for every app on the NOWAITN platform. Contacts, accounts, and deals live in one place so Queue, Reservations, Printing, HCM, and any other licensed app all reference the same people and organizations. A person is a person everywhere — no CSV syncs, no duplicate records, no separate “customer list” per app.

Why it exists

  • One customer, every app. The guest who joined the waitlist this morning is the same contact on the reservation confirmation and the same record your team logs a call against this afternoon.
  • Event-driven pipeline. Deals advance from platform events — a reservation confirmed, an invoice paid, a ticket closed — without anyone dragging a card on a board.
  • Shared campaigns. Bulk email and SMS go out through the platform’s shared notification token pool. No separate SendGrid or Twilio account.
  • Activity history. Every call, note, meeting, email, print job, reservation, and queue event is captured against the contact record, automatically.

Licensing

CRM is activated per organization from Hub > Settings > Licenses, licensed per seat in three tiers:

TierPriceBest for
Core$9 / seat / moHosts and servers who need to see and edit their own contacts.
Advanced$19 / seat / moManagers running team pipelines and sending campaigns.
Admin$39 / seat / moOps leads configuring automation, API access, and external integrations.

Tiers are cumulative — Advanced includes everything in Core, and Admin includes everything in Advanced. Billing administrators (org role owner or admin) can assign tiers per seat on the License Admin page.

What you get

  • Contacts, accounts, and deals with multi-tenant isolation and site-level optional scoping.
  • Shared customer records every other NOWAITN app reads and writes against.
  • Activity log: calls, notes, meetings, emails, and cross-app events.
  • Event-driven pipeline automation (Advanced & Admin).
  • Bulk campaigns via the shared notification token pool (Advanced & Admin).
  • CSV export and team-wide pipeline view (Advanced & Admin).
  • REST API, webhooks, and external integrations (Admin).

Next step

Once CRM is licensed, head to CRM > Contacts and import your existing contact list. See How NOWAITN CRM Works for the architectural overview and cross-app flow.
