Baseline

The set of approved requirements fixed as design input, identified by a baseline id. A requirement joins a baseline when it is approved, and a later change goes through a change request. In a baseline gap table, baseline also names the current-state value of an element, compared with its target and classified as new, changed, retained or removed.
