Your Subscription Structure

Your NOWAITN subscription is a single monthly bill that covers all the apps and seats your organization uses. Each app — Queue, Reservations, Certifications, Knowledge — is a separate line item billed per seat.

A seat is one person's access to one app. A manager who needs Queue and Reservations holds two seats. A host who only uses Queue holds one. You control exactly who holds which seats from your organization settings.

Add-ons are optional features that extend an app's capabilities. They appear as additional line items on the same monthly invoice. Platform features like custom domains or API access work the same way.

Adding and Removing Seats

To add a seat, go to your organization billing settings and select the app you want to expand. Increase the seat count and the change takes effect immediately. Your next invoice will include a prorated charge for the new seat from the date it was added.

To remove a seat, first unassign the person occupying it, then reduce the seat count. You will receive a prorated credit on your next invoice for the unused portion of the removed seat.

Seat changes are designed to be fast and low-friction. Growing businesses should not have to go through a procurement process to give a new hire access to the waitlist tool.

Understanding Your Invoice

Your monthly invoice lists every charge for the billing period. Each app shows the number of seats and the per-seat price. Add-ons show their flat or per-seat rates. Any prorated adjustments from mid-cycle changes appear as separate line items.

Invoices are available in your billing settings and are also emailed to the billing contact on file. You can download PDF copies for your records or accounting software.

If you have questions about a charge, the invoice detail view shows exactly when each seat or add-on was added, removed, or changed during the billing period.

Plans and Limits

NOWAITN plans define the overall capabilities available to your organization. The Starter plan is free and supports small teams getting started. Growth, Professional, and Enterprise plans unlock additional capacity, features, and support levels.

Each plan sets limits on the number of users, locations, and lines of business your organization can have. App seats are purchased separately — the plan determines your organizational capacity while seats determine app access.

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period to prevent disruption.
