Tour
A reusable template for a tour or charter you sell — its name, route, duration, price, and per-seat capacity. You don't sell a Tour directly; you schedule departures of it, so the template is defined once and reused for every date you run.
Charter
A whole-vehicle or whole-vessel booking — the entire boat, bus, or van reserved by one party rather than sold seat by seat. A charter takes the departure's full capacity for a single group, so no other guests book onto it.
Departure
One specific scheduled instance of a Tour: a date and time that guests actually book. Each departure has its own capacity, its own manifest, and an assigned guide — it's the tours equivalent of a single showing of an Event.
Guide
The person assigned to lead a departure — a provider or crew role such as a tour guide, skipper, or driver. The guide runs the departure, works its manifest, and boards guests as they arrive.
Manifest
The passenger list for a specific departure — everyone booked on it, with their party size and boarding status. The guide works the manifest at the meeting point to check guests in and confirm the full head count before leaving.
